Banger Ball wasn’t created in a boardroom, it was born from a simple idea, a little creativity, and a love for friendly competition.

The original concept dates back nearly 20 years. While working in a warehouse, we found ourselves looking for ways to break up the routine and have some fun during downtime. We started experimenting with different games and challenges, and one idea stood out: what if scoring wasn’t based on where a ball landed, but on how many times it bounced before it got there?

The concept was unique, competitive, and surprisingly addictive.

Like many great ideas, life got busy. Careers, family, and responsibilities took center stage, and the game remained just that—an idea.

Fast forward nearly two decades, and that idea found new life.

As friends and family gathered for backyard barbecues, tailgates, birthday parties, and summer get-togethers, we realized something was missing. We wanted a game that was easy to learn, exciting to play, portable enough to take anywhere, and competitive enough to keep everyone coming back for “just one more round.”

So we dusted off the original concept and got to work.

What followed were countless nights of testing different balls, basket designs, scoring systems, and rules. We played on driveways, patios, basements, blacktop, and anywhere else we could find a hard surface. Friends, neighbors, and family members all became unofficial play testers, helping us refine the game into what Banger Ball is today.

Today, Banger Ball is proudly family-owned and operated from Freehold, New Jersey.

We’re not a massive corporation. We’re a family pursuing a dream, building something we genuinely love, and sharing it with players across the country. Every game we ship represents years of ideas, testing, persistence, and support from the people who believed in us from the beginning.
